Limboland is a brand new Danish drama series. It is a coming-of-age drama that applies a distinct female lens on life, identity issues, and societal expectations as experienced by the three young protagonists in their mid-20s. High school friends that had drifted apart, their lives become entwine once again after they meet at their high school reunion – for better and worse. The city of Copenhagen forms a hot summer backdrop for the story as the protagonists juggle the different versions of themselves that they have curated on digital platforms and in different relationships, while covering up their true feelings.
