TrustNordisk closes multiple territories for Thomas Vinterberg's drama, which premiered in Cannes Competition.

 

International buyers are on THE HUNT, with distributors in multiple territories setting their sights on the Thomas Vinterberg drama that premiered Sunday night in Cannes Competition. Sales agent TrustNordisk closed deals with Italy's BIM Distributione, Russian Report and Poland's KinoSwiat in a slew of more than 20 deals signed at the Cannes Marche du Film.

The drama, which stars Mads Mikkelsen as a man falsely accused of child abuse, pre-sold to several major markets, including the U.K. (Arrow Films), Benelux (WildBunch) and France (Pretty Pictures). A deal for Germany could be pending, with several German buyers, including Concorde Films, expressing their interest.

THE HUNT still hasn't sold for the U.S.
